New entrant transition into experienced worker
During the application stage, the level 1 user must be an employee, but once granted, it is possible to appoint additional level 1 users, which can include a legal representative. This is the person the Home Office will contact in relation to the organisation’s application and the licence on an ongoing basis. The key contact’s details are to be provided when the licence application is made. The sponsor must also keep records of sponsored workers’ contact details, both retaining past contact details and having a system in place to identify and update any changes in contact information.
The Home office can then decide to reinstate the licence, to downgrade it or revoke if the compliance breaches are substantial. A copy of the completed and submitted online sponsor licence application should be retained for the UK organisation’s sponsor records. Sponsor licence guidance
